College Admissions Coach - Elevation Scholars

Elevation Scholars is seeking a College Admissions Coach to guide high-achieving students from under-resourced backgrounds through the college admissions process. In this role, you’ll mentor and support up to 25 students, helping them identify their best-fit colleges, craft strong applications, secure financial aid, and successfully transition to top-tier universities.

What You’ll Do:

- Coach students through every step of the admissions journey—essays, applications, interviews, and financial aid.

- Build trusted relationships with students, families, and school partners.

- Develop lesson plans and content to teach students about admissions and college readiness.

- Collaborate with the team on retreats, workshops, tours, and special events.

- Stay current on admissions trends and best practices to ensure students receive the strongest guidance.

What We’re Looking For:

- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s in counseling, education, or related field preferred.

- 2+ years of experience in college admissions, counseling, or education.

- Experience with selective college admissions or Title I schools highly valued.

- Strong communication, relationship-building, and organizational skills.

- Passion for educational equity and commitment to student success.

- Bilingual (Spanish, Haitian Creole, or Vietnamese) a plus.

Compensation & Benefits:

- Salary: $45,000–$50,000 plus annual bonus potential.
