Join us for this free virtual event to learn about AI in the College Process, hear annual ACT updates, learn how the FAFSA year 2 roll out is going, and review scholarship resources throughout Tennessee.


8:30 - 9:30 am Central AI in the College Process: Tools to Help Seniors Manage Their College Search and Recommendation Letter Assistance

It seems AI is here to stay. Learn about AI tools that can be an asset to students' college search and teacher recommendations, while still allowing authenticity and originality to shine through. 

Counselors will learn about new tools and strategies that allow AI to be an asset to the college search process for both students, counselors, and teachers.

9:45 - 10:15 am Central Annual ACT Updates and Resources

This session will provide an overview of updates and resources for the ACT, focusing on what counselors and advisors need to know. We will discuss the key updates, their purpose, and how they will impact students and schools. This informative session is designed to keep you up to date with the latest developments and ensure you are prepared for what is ahead.

10:30 - 11:30 am Central FAFSA, TSAC

Last year left us thinking "What the FAFSA?" Hear how the Year 2 rollout of the revised FAFSA is going. Identify helpful resources to share with students and families. Learn how to navigate the common obstacles families are facing completing the form.

11:45 am – 12:15 pm Central Scholarship Resources

We are all aware that cost is one of the biggest barriers for students and families during the college search process. In this session we will review scholarship opportunities throughout TN for high school students. Also, we’ll cover tips and tricks for pursuing outside scholarships and cover most frequently asked questions of students and their parents.
